Are you interested in mentoring or being mentored? Check the criteria below to see if you’re eligible to be a mentor or mentee!
Mentees
AMP mentee applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Autistic (able to provide proof of diagnosis)
- 14-18 years old
- English language ability (written, spoken, or AAC)*
- Resident of 7-county Twin Cities metro area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington County)
- Have access to computer/tablet/phone/etc. with reliable internet connection
- Able to commit to meeting with a mentor via Zoom for 1 hour per week during the upcoming school year
- Able and willing to participate in an affiliated University of Minnesota evaluation study of AMP during the 2022-2023 program cycle

Mentors
AMP mentor applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Autistic (able to provide proof of diagnosis)
- 18+ years old
- English language ability (written, spoken, or AAC)*
- Resident of 7-county Twin Cities metro area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington County)
- Have access to computer/tablet/phone/etc. with reliable internet connection
- Able to commit to meeting with a mentee via Zoom for 1 to 1-1/2 hours per week during the upcoming school year
- Able and willing to participate in an affiliated University of Minnesota evaluation study of AMP during the 2022-2023 AMP program cycle
